How to create an .ldf file

  Could anyone suggest how the "mode_file_thermal_waveguide.ldf" file was created in the example in the following link

  ldf is saved data in Lumerical script. Please refer to https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034411174-savedata-Script-command

  Hi Guilin, thanks! is it possible to comment how the exact .ldf file was created in the given link (https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042833173). The .ldf file was already there in the downloaded example file. It would be good to know the source of it. Also, an .ldf file can have info about a whole simulation or only some field info. So, it is important to know the source of the given .ldf file to recreate the same results for me.

  It should be from the frequecy sweep in FDE, and then choose "export data" in ldf file.
  The file contains neff data at different frequencies for INTERCONNECT simulation.
