I have a problem in changing the stiffness behavior to rigid body when I import a mesh file from hyperworks! The background of the box is gray and cannot be modified. I'd like to ask whether there is a way to change it!

From wrokbench turn on "Tools > Options > Appearance > Beta Options" and relaunch Mechanical. On the Mesh object in the Outline, set the "Read Only" to no.
