SubscriberHi all I'm simulating a propeller with transient Analysis.
I've to calculate thrust force using transient Analysis.
How to use correct time step size.?
What is the use of using transient Analysis over steady state analysis.?

Forum ModeratorTransient will show you the solution as it changes with time, steady state is the solution at equilibrium.
Time step is based on the flow and mesh, roughly set it so the flow passes through a cell in around 10 time steps AND the solution converges in 10-15 iterations per time step. You will need many time steps to solve the problem and start getting useful data.
