SubscriberI'm need to conduct a design of experiments study to map out a design space for a component. To do so, I need test 50+ similar geometries. Constructing 50+ FEA/CFDÂ models manually seems mind numbingly repetitive and time consuming so I'm looking to automate the process.
I've worked with ABAQUS which allowed the automation of pre and post processing operations via altering the ODB files in addition to a few python scripts.
Example of this automation here (http://ifcuriousthenlearn.com/blog/2015/04/02/Abaqus-FEA-Scripting-with-python/)
As a result I only had to go through the model setup once, after that, the python script read the geometry data from a csv file before completing the rest of the pre-processing, processing and post processing steps.Â
Â
Can anyone share any links/materials which demonstrate python scripting in workbench?
Alternatively, any resources on how to achieve the same automation within Workbench (without python scripting) would also be greatly appreciated.Â
