How to assign element orientation to a surface coating?

Hello, I have a surface coating applied to a curved object. The assigned material is anisotropic (carbon fiber). I would like to ensure the elements are all oriented in a specific direction as the coating material would be laid up; however, I do not see an element orientation option for the Surface Coating. Is there a way to assign element orientation to a surface coating?n

nANSYS Composite Pre, also known as ACP (Pre) is a program included with the ANSYS Student license. ACP (Pre) allows you to define lamina of carbon fibers. You can also define a stackup of lamina at different angles to define a laminate. It also allows you to orient the the laminate and drape it over a curved object.n
