SubscriberHey there,nI need to design and simulate a PMSM for a master thesis. I'm new to the software and wondering how it is possible to assign a constant sinusoidal current to my 3 phase machine via Maxwell2D.nI created an IPM Synchrounous machine via RMxprt, when I create a Solution setup I only have the option to define the rated voltage as follows:
With this setup I get way to high Stator Currents- these are automatically calculated.n
For my motor I calculated a constant current of i_q=750A. Is it possible to assign these value somehow ?nI would be really glad if someone can help.nnThank you and kind regardsnnnLukas n

Forum ModeratornFirst, create a full maxwell model from the RMXprt model as discussed in your other post.nThen under the project manager window for the maxwell design change the excitations for the phases to current and give a required sinusoidal equation for each phase.n For additional help please refer to the Maxwell help document.n
nRegards,nNavyan
