SubscriberI would like to run a simulation in HFSS where a uniform external alternating current is applied.
I was able to find an option to do this in COMSOL, but I was wondering if it is also possible to implement the same setup in HFSS.

SubscriberThank you for your quick reply!
I realized I should clarify that I would like to apply the external AC current to the entire volume.
I understand that the method you suggested applies the external AC to a surface. Would it be possible to apply it to the whole volume instead?

Ansys EmployeeThe Current Source I mentioned in my answer refers to HFSS settings, but what software are you asking about?

Ansys EmployeeIn HFSS, the Current Source is set using a similar method to Lumped Port.
I'm not familiar with COMSOL settings, but selecting a 3D object to set the Current Source is incorrect in HFSS.
