Hello,
I bulit a sensor stimulation model in maxwell 3D software.First, I built one sensor model in the outside coils which is used to produce the magnetic field. The sensor model can work well and I achieve it.And then, I try to add another sensor model which is Orthogonal to the first sensor model in the outside coils, because I want to expore how the distance of two model effect the sensor model output. But No matter how I increase the distance between the two sensor models, the sensor model output is not correct. I try to locate the problem,:
1.     I even put another sensor outside the coil,it is not work
2.     I let the second sensor model not work and then observe the first sensor output, still wrong.
3.     I change the second sensor model into non model, the first model work well.
Could you tell what is wrong?

Hello,
The description is not very clear. Your sensors seem to be coils as well. The field generated by the outside coil is purely in axial direction, and I do not think the second senor is supposed to detect anything. Please use the support button at the left of this page to submit a ticket and share your project for further assistance.

hello,
you are right, in fact, the second senor is supposed to detect anything, but the stimulation show that the second snesor detect the magnetic field. I am a student , i haven't the license.

Please make sure the solution region is large enough, and check the B field overlay plot to see if its direction is correct at sensor location. If the outside coil is solid, it is possible to have radial direction flux at high frequency.

The B field looks distorted. Please try enlarging your solution region to 2000 mm.Â

Thanks for your help. It works. And i want to konw,in generally, what kind of relationship between the simulation model and the  solution regin?

It depends on the field distribution, not the size of the model.
