Hi friends, I have a problem. Im working in fluent and I have to make my flow inviscid but i also need to have velocity at wall = 0 so no slip. But when i make my flow inviscid i can't change my wall roughness? Is there any way you can help? There is photo of inviscid flow but with velocity at wall

Use a symmetry boundary instead of the wall. n

It didnt help i still cant identify its roughness and velocity isnt 0 nn

Oops, misread, I thought you wanted a slip wall! Read the manual to understand what inviscid flow means, and how it's modelled. With that knowledge what else can you adjust? n

is it even possible to make such flow? Like inviscid and velocity at wall 0 n

Possibly, but I'd need to read the manual. As it's home time here you can do that and tell me what you think could be done. n

I cant think of any solution... im helpless in this case because im not advanced in fluent but thank you for your time i really appreciate it!n

Look in User's Guide 9.5 Inviscid Flows. What's the main statement in that section. n

It does say that ,,Inviscid flow analysis neglect the effect of viscosity on the flow'' so i can assume that there is no possible way that the fluid will stick to the walls and velocity will be 0? Because inertial forces tend to dominate viscous forces n
