SubscriberIn order to perform the stress analysis of a rotating disk which is fixed on a shaft in ansys workbench-static structural, I use cylindrical support to model the bearings of the shafts. However when I import the pressure from CFX analysis of the disk and impose the required resisting torque (=Transmitted power/angular velocity) at the end cross section of the shaft, the resulting stress becomes very low and uniform (dark blue) and it seems there is not enough constraint resisting the imported pressure. After I change the boundary condition to fixed support the problem has been resolved, However the displacement of the inner surface becomes zero which is not correct. Is there anyway to analyze the effect of angular velocity and imported pressure simultaneously?
