SubscriberHello, I am trying to simulate a spherical bridge bearing. However, I'm not sure if I need to define bonded contact between the two parts, With and without bonded contact they yield slightly different results. How does Ansys treat the contact between the faces for spherical joint if I don't define it as bonded?

Although the deformations look similar, the stresses differ by approximately 25% which I consider to be quite big. The mesh, material and forces applied are identical in both scenarios. -

Can you please check the location of maximum stress and share the same? Also, please check if the maximum stress location is a singularity.
