SubscriberHello everyone.
I try to simulate bullet impact on reinforcement concrete slab, but fail. Bullet just passing through slab and left small damage. I use CONTACT_ERODING_SURFACE_TO_SURFACE between the projectile and concrete. Slab material is MAT_CSCM_CONCRETE, reinforcement MAT_PLASTIC_KINEMATIC.
Without reinforcment all good, slab desroyed under shock.
What do I wrong?

SubscriberHi,
You can reduce your timestep and reduce BSORT cycle for a better contact detection. Moreover, you can use erdoing_nodes_2_surface contact being the concrete slab as the surface and penetrator as the node set part.
If you are using SOFT=2 option, read the manual carefully for correct settings of SBOPT and DEPTH parameters.
Good luck.
