SubscriberHi,
I am working on a project involving composite materials in Ansys, and I keep encountering a recurring error called "Invalid Ply". I am unsure what is causing this issue or how to resolve it.
I have reviewed the ply definitions and material settings, but I can't pinpoint the problem. To make it easier to understand, I’ve attached screenshots showing my setup and the error message.
Could anyone guide me on the possible causes of this error and how to fix it?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and recommendations.

Ansys EmployeeHi,
I can see a question mark next to the "Equivalent Elastic Strain" result object in your model's outline tree. This indicates a definition that is insufficient or invalid. Perhaps, the ply definition might be missing. Prior to solving the model, make sure you have chosen the right ply.Hope this helps!
