      Dear all,

I want to implement highlighted equation in Ansys, I'm following the tutorial (https://www.afs.enea.it/project/neptunius/docs/fluent/html/ug/node342.htm) on the Ansys site. But I'm not quite sure for which part part of the eq. I have to write an extra UDF and the where to implement it.

      Thank you in advance,

      Bob

      Hello,

Please refer to the Fluent user guide, section 9.1.3.1 for single phase and 9.1.3.2 for multi phase.

Yes, I'm following that guide, but I'm not quite sure for which part part of the eq. I have to write an extra UDF and the where to implement it. Cause for example in the udf manual they write a piece of code, for the unsteady part:

do I have to implemented it exactly, the same, or change it to my "values"?

      Hello,

If you are looking to simply set a UDS equation, simply activate it from the User-Defined menu -> (UDS).

This would add a scalar transport equation in addition to the regular set of conservation equations in Fluent.

      Hope this helps.

      Best Regards,

      Karthik
