SubscriberHi,
I have an academic research license. To my knowledge, here I am not limited in any way to use GPU for my calculation. My workstation is equipped with Quadro GV100 (80 SMs as per Fluent). When I try to run Native GPU in Fluent, I get the following error messageÂ
"GPU Solver enabledÂ
Unable to spawn node: license not available.
ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR:Not enough HPC Parallel licenses 44/28."How am I limited to 28 units of (whatever it is)? And what does 44 mean?
In case the above numbers represent SMs, how am I limited to 28 while a student license supports up to 40?
Thank you
Best regards,George
