SubscriberHello,
while trying out the new dedicated GPU solver I came across a weird issue.
When setting up a drag monitor, selecting "Average over (iterations > 1)" and flagging "Retain instantaneous values", these instantaneous values aren't eventually retained nor written.
Â
As a double check, I set up two identical reports, one averaged over 500 iterations with retained values (dragf-ave), and one not averaged (dragf). The end results, as visible in the attached picture, are exactly the same. Even the output written file shows the exact same results, and the third column "Instantaneous values" is entirely blank.
Â
It seems that the averaging just doesn't take place. Is this a known issue? What solution can I apply?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
This is not yet avaiable in the GPU solver and this information will be updated in the user guide.Â

SubscriberSo does this mean that also the Data Sampling for Steady Statistics is not working? Because I am trying to use it but no additional information comes up in post processing when the option is enabled, unlike in CPU solver.
