FRP rebars modelling

I am trying to model RC beam with hybrid reinforcement (Steel+GFRP) bars.nI am using Solid65 for concrete element, Link180 for steel bars, Link180 for GFRP bars.nThe question is: how can I model the GFRP rebars to have a linear elastic behavior until rupture (at 970 Mpa Stress or 0.02189 strain).nI know how to model normal steel bars with linear and nonlinear behavior and adding yield stress, but for GFRP I only have EX (young modulus in X direction), PRXY (Poisson's ratio) and tensile stress.nI am using ANSYS mechanical APDL 2021 R1.nThanks in advance.n

Forgive me if I am misinterpreting your request, but it sounds like you want to be able to simulate the GFRP rebar rupture when the rebar stress exceeds 970 MPa. Presumably, at rupture, you would like the LINK180 to stop transmitting force, so a bilinear stress-strain curve with near-zero plastic slope would not be appropriate (the element would still transmit force when operating in the plastic portion of the curve).

It appears that LINK180 does support the damage evolution law and damage initiation criteria:

I've never used these material models with LINK180 so cannot provide details on setup, but maybe if you review the Help section on Material Damage you can figure out how to define it for use in your model:

      Kind regards,

      Bill

Thank you very much for your reply, I used link180 element for GFRP rebars with Bilnear behavior where I used the the same young modulus for the slope in the second part of the graph and I got a very good results for the load control (about 92% match the experiment).
But, for the same beam in the case of displacement control part, I'm not getting the same results with the experiment, and the reason of that as I think is because I don't really know how to simulate this part. I just put a displacement on the same nodes where the forces where. but the results aren't even matching.
I tried to use CPT215 element for concrete, and I got good results for the load control part but no cracks propagation for this element.
if you have any idea to use CPT215 to simulate concrete in APDL, I will be very grateful.
      thanks a lot in advance.

how can i use the link 180 command for GFRP in Ansys 2021 r1

i was used the reinf element for both steel and GFRP bars but load-deformation is not closely much
