Hi, folks
I am currently using Ansys 2024, and in this version there is one new option under Solution Initialization -> FMG Initialization, and even under it we can find FMG Options -> Viscous Terms toggle.
My question is whether this viscous term enable/disable toggle is a new addition in 2024 or it just got separated out from being an inbuilt feature earlier.
I have an Ansys 2023R1 license on my cloud server, so is there any way to enable this?

Hi,
By default, the FMG initialization procedure computes an initial solution based on the Euler equations of inviscid flows. The density-based solver offers the possibility of adding the viscous terms of the Navier-Stokes equation to the FMG initialization procedure.Â
You can check fluent user’s guide for more details: 36.10. Full Multigrid (FMG) Initialization
