SubscriberHi all,
Recently, I did a tutorial case following fluent official documents. The case is a compressible nozzle. In the tutorial, mass flow rate of the domain is reported and convergece is obviously reached. However, when I checked the total heat transfer rate report, the net results is -22.4997W. The case is surely converged since I followed every steps in tutorial and all results are exactly the same with tutorial. I just can't understand why the total heat transfer rate of the system is not close to zero when the case is converged.
I put the screen shot of temperautre contour and heat transfer rate flux reports below. I wonder are there any special reasons with which total heat transfer rate doesn't have to be zero when cases are converged.
Best regards
Weiqiang

Ansys Employee23 W is less than 1% of the Incoming Flux. Anyway it can be enhanced I suppose.
