Fluid_Fluid contact in steady state (evolution) problems in polyflow

      Hi

      for concidering fluid fluid contact in poly flow when i change the simulation type from time dependant to steady state the option for concidering fluid fluid contact on free surfaces will be inactive.

      i need to concider fluid-fluid contact in steady simulations in polyflow. can you please help me activate fluid fluid contact on free surfaces in steady simulations.

      This looks very much like https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/fluid-fluid-contact-in-polyflow/  If a model/option isn't available it typically means it can't just be switched on. Maybe add some more details into the original thread?

      Which may be a transient only option. But as there is no information on what you're trying to model in the original thread it's near impossible to tell what you're doing to suggestion options.

      As shown in the figure, the fluid enters the domain through two separate sections. The two regions are not initially in contact, but they come into contact further downstream. I would like to account for the effect of this contact in the model.

      I understand that this can be considered in a transient simulation, as the contact develops during the evolution of the solution. However, my main concern is the computational cost. Since the final objective is to obtain a steady-state result, I was wondering whether there is a way to include the effect of fluid/fluid contact within a steady-state setup, without having to simulate the full transient process.
