hello, I have a problem in simulating wave impact. For some reason, the water within the simulation ignores the solid waterbreaks in ansys fluent I will attach a clear image of fluid ignoring the solid (unrelated to the actual simulation). How can I fix this issue? Thanks in advance for your time and help.

When you built the CAD did you split or subtract out the wavebreaker solid, or just add it to the model and head to meshing?Â

There should be some tutorials in the SpaceClaim documentation. Start with those. I also suggest you read up on the VOF model as trying to mesh that isn't going to give a low cell count model. You may then want to review the Cell zone condition "porous media".Â

Thank you for your advice, how can I import a stl file into designmodeller without issues? When I import from spaceclaim I cannot do Boolean subtract due to an error. Thank you.

With difficulty, stl's aren't traditional CAD so it can get interesting. Have a look at the facet tools in SpaceClaim, and Fluent Meshing.Â
