SubscriberIn fluent, when set the vof model,we can generally set the evaporation and condensation frequency to simulate , but there are new great means to achieve ,for instance ,in starccm+,it depends on the temperature ,like water ,when more than 100℃,the meshes related become gas, when decrease, become water,it calculate like this, researchers around me think it is a greater way to similate. But in fluent,is there a calculate method like this?

Forum ModeratorIf you mean an ALE solver they're an older technology and one we don't have in Fluent. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean. The Eulerian multiphase model may be more suitable if you're not wanting to resolve the bubbles/droplets.Â

Forum ModeratorI can't see an obvious route in the TUI or manuals. Whilst it may be possible, if it's not documented I can't share a method.Â
