Good afternoon all,
 
I've had a problem with the fluent interface, looking for any advice.
 
As seen below, the ansys fluent window does not display the ribbon at the top. This ribbon does include many crucial features to our workflow. When right clicking on the top banner here, the ribbon option appears to not be available. This problem is the same across all workbench projects on my user, but if this project is opened by another user the ribbon is visible as normal.
     
I have tried looking online and found the following:
 
1.shut down Fluent 2.Rename the C:Usersyourname.cxlayout.ini file and C:Usersyourname.fluentconf folder (if it exists). (Use any name so that FLuent will be forced to generate new versions of these files when it restarts.) 3.Restart Fluent This should reset the Fluent GUI window layout and Fluent configuration back to their default states. Then the ribbon toolbar and tab should show up again. Most likely something either in the %USERPROFILE%.cxlayout.ini file or %USERPROFILE%.fluentconf folder got corrupted.
 
This doesn’t make much sense to me, I have tried searching in the project files and the ansys program files without any results.

Use the following TUI Command , it will reset for work view to default          

/display/update-layout default
