Hello, I have recently upgraded to Ansys 2024R1 from 2020R1
I am now facing a problem of the geometry made in spaceclaim not being able to import into fluent meshing, it just stays in this position (as shown in the screenshot below) and doesn't show any errors or progresses after that, I have solved this issue before in the 2020 version by copying and pasting the geometry into a fresh spaceclaim file, or by saving it under a different directory, but it didnt work this time.
I want to know if there is anything else I can try to make this work, I have tried importing an older file I made using the 2020spaceclaim and it works, and I also made a test geometry cube using the 2024 spaceclaim and it imports just fine, the issue is with the model I made.
It is a car model that was made using a combination of skin tool surfaces and blend surfaces, I have done this many times before but not in the 2024 version.Â

Image does not show any error.Â
As you mentioned that you can easily import cube, then your CAD configuration must be correct.Â
Can you please export any neutral format from SpaceClaim like step or iges and then try to import it in SpaceClaim.Â
You can try one more thing: Close all sessions. Go to C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Ansys and rename v241 folder to v241_old.Â
If this does not work then try to uninstall and reinstall it.Â

Keyur
