SubscriberHello,
Question 1:
Is it possible to import STL files into Ansys Fluent after the simulation, for example, a surface body after the model has been simulated and displayed? The imported file should have no physical influence on the environment but should be visually represented in the environment (for instance, a dummy for evaluating airflow).Question 2:
In Ansys Post, it is easy to create volume renderings. So far, I have not been able to find a way to create volume renderings in Fluent.Â
Does this work? If so, how?Thank you in advance.
Kind regards

SubscriberFor Question 1, let me point you to: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/knowledge/forums/topic/is-it-possible-to-import-a-custom-surface-in-fluent/
For Question 2, do you mean the Volume Rendering like in CFD-Post? Those techniques are not really available in Fluent post-processing. What are you trying to accomplish? Depending on what you are trying to do, you may be able to do something with Registers and Transparency (scene) to get something similar.
