SubscriberHello all,
I try to simulate a falling in Fluent. A square object in 2-D with 1.25 kg falls with gravity -9.81 m/s2. Phase 2 is water but it falls until hits the ground. No bouyancy force is acted. domain is all on +x and +y. No coordinates are negative. You may see on screenshot, it bends water but no touch after 1 sec. What should i do? -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
You can try 6DOF solver to calculate motion of the moving body and you can use vof multiphase model to model the buoyancy force experienced by the moving body.
