Hi there, 

I downloaded the student version of ansys 2019 R3  a few days ago on a new Windows 10 VM and since then have been having some problems with Fluent. When I try to open it, it opens, but then fails with "failed to validate the connection"  every time with the following error:

I ran fluent from the original file location which is correct (Program Files/Ansys Inc/Ansys Student/v195fluentfluent19.5.0win643d_nodefl_mpi1950.exe), but I got this error (attached). Do you know where I can find this file? Also why would it be missing?

 

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ansys multiple times but get the same results every time. 

 

 

Any help would be really appreciated.

I am also having a similar problem... my fluent opens, but that's it. I am not able to do anything else.
