I read that making sure processor affinity is set is helpful for speedup. But it seems random (with the same number of processors) when I am able to see the message of sucessful processor affinity set. Is there anything I can do? I already close out all unwanted programs and use less than the total physical cores on my machine (FLUENT 2023R2, Windows OS, Intel i9-12900k, 64GB RAM).

I also have your exact operating system, however, when I compare it with a system with CPU i7 4770K (4 cores), its speed is not very high and there is a slight difference.
Do you also have this problem?
Do I have to do anything special?

When I open Fluent, I get this message in the Fluent console. Do you also receive this message?

Yes. That is the reason for my question. I get the same behavior and am wondering how to get the process affinity to set.

Is your Run Fluent speed low?
