SubscriberHi everyone! I'm new into the forum. I would ask a question that seems did not find into another topic.
Currently i'm using fluent meshing for CFD simulation and in some study cases i have to fix a problem that i'm not able solve.
The problem concerns to remove the gap that there is in two face of any body, where internally i would build my volume mesh.
Below i report the topic: in this excercise i have to meshing internally my airfoil, but at the trailing edge there is a problem about a gap to small. Into the console the solution suggested could be to remove the gap or refine the mesh.
I think that could apply a chamfer ad the edge maybe a fine solution.Â
I found the command: "Meshing/objects/remove-gaps" but the problem i here: i don't understand what is the input to let the mesher works and refine the surface mesh to improve volume mesh

Ansys EmployeeHello, nThe easiest way is to fix this in SpaceClaim where you could use the repair option and choose gaps and that would sort the issue. nDecember 21, 2020 at 2:33 pmKeyur Kanade
Ansys Employee/ mesh / remove-gaps is in different context. nThe problem you are having is sharp angle. nAs mentioned, it is best to remove it in SpaceClaim by using chamfer. nRegards,nKeyurnHow to access Ansys Online Help DocumentnHow to show full resolution imagenGuidelines on the Student CommunitynHow to use Google to search within Ansys Student CommunitynDecember 21, 2020 at 5:01 pmZordiak
SubscriberThank you very much for your answer Arrayand Array, I have applied your suggestion.nAbout / mesh / remove-gaps what is the context of its application?Thank you very muchnRobnnDecember 21, 2020 at 9:44 pmRK
