Flow separation problem

  I am currently doing a project to investigate the flow of a car diffuser using a simplified model. I expected the flow to be attached due to an increase in flow velocity because of the ground, however, whatever I tried, my flow would separate from the surface at the diffuser inlet, does anyone know the reason and how to fix it? Thank you
