SubscriberHi everyone
I want to simulate finger movement by using a tendon, and when I pull the tendon, it will make the finger bend. I tried to make the joint frictionless and the contact between the tendon and body frictional but there was no movement.
I don't know how to define the joint. and contact between the tendon and finger to move the finger.should I use static or transiate analysis ?
I appreciate and thank you all for the help.Â

SubscriberHello Peter,
This is from your previous comments:
Here is the link to the Ansys 2022 R2 archive. While this shows a rolling joint, your model with joints may be easier to solve because is uses revolute joints. The flexible body version of your finger is going to be much more difficult to solve.
I CANNT OPNEN THE FILE BECAUSE I HAVE Ansys 2022 R1.

SubscriberOlder versions of Ansys cannot open files saved in newer versions of Ansys. There is no way to convert newer versions to older versions of a Workbench project file.
You can install the same or any newer version of Ansys to open the Ansys 2022 R2 archive.
