SubscriberHello,
I have attached a Electric field amplitude monitor's screenshot. You can see that its a colormap with maximum value 4.5 at x=2.67um, y= 150 nm approximately and have other E-field magnitues at other places. Is there any way I can calculate the average Electric field amplitude and also average Electric field intensity over the entire monitor area? Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeYou can use mean: mean - Script command
or better to integrate the intensity and devide by the area:integrate - Script command
make sure to pinch out singleton in z: pinch - Script command
you will get the averaged intensity at different wavelength, if the monitor records broadband result.
