 Hello,
I am encountering some challenges while attempting to simulate the flow of water within a pumping station, specifically focusing on the intake of seawater and analyzing the water flow patterns and velocity changes.
When attempting to fill the station with a volume of water, I encountered the following errors:
"Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies"
- This error suggests that there may be issues with the geometry of the pumping station, potentially resulting in non-manifold bodies, which could interfere with the simulation process.
"Error: No new fill volume was created from selected body sets"
- This error indicates that despite attempting to fill the station with water, the simulation software was unable to create a new fill volume from the selected body sets, further complicating the simulation process.
These errors are hindering my progress in accurately simulating the water flow within the pumping station. I believe resolving these issues is crucial to obtaining reliable simulation results and gaining insights into the fluid dynamics of the system.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide in troubleshooting these errors and ensuring a successful simulation of the pumping station's water flow.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response.
Best regards,
Â

Please check geometry in SpaceClaim.Â
Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. (Or Tools - Fault Detection in DM)
The geometry should be error free to proceed.Â
If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places.ÂAlso please consider SpaceClaim for volume extraction. Please check following video.Â
