SubscriberWhen I ran varFDTD optimization, the error "file not found" was shown. The weird thing is that the same file could work in some computers but failed in other computers. I checked the file paths on different computers and it's all the same. Any ideas on what happened here?

SubscriberAlso parameter sweep works but optimization doesn't :)

Most likely it is due to conflict of the parameters and the simulation file cannot be created. Please check the the ranges of the optimized parameters.
Other minor remedies are to reboot the computer; copy and paste the objects except the varFDTD to a new project file.
If you are sure the parameters have no conflicts and the minor remedies do not work, please send us an email through you local rep or our support email address if you know, and mention this post. Then I can check it for you.

SubscriberI don't think it's the conflict of the parameters, because the same file can run properly on a different computer. The simulation files are created in the folder but the error "file not found" still poped up.Â
I also tried rebooting the computer, changing some objects, and regenerating files using the script, but none worked. -

SubscriberThe job file shows such information:
Running lms file: C:\Program Files\Lumerical\v222\bin\fd-engine-msmpi.exe -t 36 -remote -hide G:/My Drive/Workspace/Mode Converter/mode_converter_varFDTD_v1 - Copy_mode_conversion_optimization_width_100_200_offset_100g1/mode_conversion_optimization_width_100_200_offset_100g1_1.lms
There is no MODE simulation region saved in the lms file. The simulation cannot proceed.
Error: parallel error, at least one process could not read the designated file. Process number: 0 had this error -
