Hi
I'm trying to do fibre push out simulation in ansys. I'm facing problem in defining the interfacebetween the fibre and matrix. I used czm bond but when the indentor puts force on the fibre, the interface bond doesn't break, the fibre compresses but doesn't slide which it should. Can anyone help me regarding this on how to develop a bond between the fibre and matrix as i'm new to this so don't know how to do it properly.

Hi,
Â
I think you should use Explicit analysis for push-out simulation. Please try google search using keywords - 'fiber push out simulation ansys explicit' to find relevant article/ videos.

Thanks for responding, I tried doing this in explicit analysis, now, how do I define the material for interface bond in explicit analysis? There's no option for contact debonding, fracture or czm
