SubscriberHello,
I installed Ansys Electronics 2021 R1. I am trying to distribute tasks on different machines with Intel MPI, but the process does not go beyond "Determining memory availability on distributed machines on local machine". All the machines are on the same domain. I did test machine and all the tests were successful.
Also this setup works perfectly in 2019R3 with IBM MPI. Not sure what is going wrong. Can someone please help me figure this out?
Thanks,
Pratik

SubscriberHello!
I have the same problem with Ansys Electronics Desktop 2021 R2 and RMS and would be interested in how you solved the issue.
Could you please share your solution?
Thanks and best regards Jona

SubscriberI had some troubles in the past with versions 13-15. There were TCP ports necessary to open, not properly documented in the manual. Try disabling firewalls completely, for determining, is it the case. RMS and the EDT should be of the same version, btw.

SubscriberI disabled all the firewalls and registered my credentials on each node using command prompt.
"%I_MPI_ROOT%"\intel64\bin\mpiexec -register
Hope this helps!
