SubscriberHy everybody,
I'm working on a turbine inside the duct and I have problems with the extrusion function. I created a domain inside the duct that contains the turbine and I need to extrude one face of this rotating domain till the internal face of the duct.Â
My situation is shown in the figure below
I need to extend the domain until the duct.
Can anyone explain to me how I can manage it?
Â
Thank you!

Forum ModeratorPlease can you sketch what shape you're after? I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do.Â

SubscriberIn DesignModeler, the solid you show does not currently reach the gap between the blade tip and the duct.
The solid was either made with a Revolve or an Extrude, and each of those would have an underlying sketch.
You click on the Sketch that defined the diameter of the solid, probably an Extrude with a circle, right? You add a dimension to the circle and type in a number that gets the circle to end up between the blade tip and the duct.

Forum ModeratorI'd modify the sketch as Peter suggests or use the Concept tools to create the volume inside the duct & Booleans to subtract the turbine.Â
