As the title of this post says i am trying to make a solid based on a profile i importted in from autocad. But when i import the shape in it comes as curves rather than a sketch so i am unable to extrude it. Is there a way to do what im trying to do?

Damian,

If your curves are continous closed loop, you should be able to use the fill option to fill the surface. Are you facing any issues? If the fill option is not working, it is possible that it is not closed. Once it is filled to create a surface, it can be extruded using pull feature.
