Extracting Nodal results along the path

  Hi all My model is constructed with a line body. Please see attached bottom chord of the truss bridge model.
  I want to extract nodal displacement result along the path from left to right (bottom chord). Could someone please help me. I am using Ansys Mechanical 2021.

  Hi Erik Thank you for the information. I was able to extract the results along the length. Now I want to extract the nodal results from left to right (393-390-392........). The node umbers are not in order from left to right in the result I extracted. Please see attached figures.

  See if this helps (exports nodal coordinates with results).
  Then in excel do a custom sort based on the column with the coordinate of interest and sort all the results.
  
  If this does not work you would need to script something in either act or apdl/snippets.
