Extracting force reaction and moment reaction – Harmonic Analysis in ANSYS WB

      Dear Experts,

I am doing a vibration analysis of a Column and intended to extract the Froce reaction and moment reaction at a specified points (One is at top of the column and another point is at 3/4 height of the column where the force is applied) for a given frquency range (0 to 5 Hz) in Harmonic Analysis using ANSYS Workbench. When i use the frequency response probe for extracting the reaction & moment for at the selected remote points, the results are coming zero values.

Note : The column is modeled with Line element and ensured stiffness and mass distribution as required.

      Requesting your values inputs.

      Thank you in advance.

      Regards

      AE

You can request the frequency response at any node/point for displacement, velocity or acceleration including point A where you apply a force.

You request reaction forces at any node/point where you apply a support or displacement.

Reaction forces are expected to be zero if there is no support or displacement at the node/point.
