Hi
So I want to simulate the air flow and heat analysis over the vehicle surface. How can I include reflected radiation and convection heat transfer from the ground wall flowing up towards the vehicle undercarriage? Moreover, I want to add solar rays as the heat source. I tried to simulate it, but it didn't work. How can I do it? -

Hello Mayank,
When you are interested in reflected radiarion from ground, road should get some radiating energy from other source. For vehicle running on road , this source could be from solar load. Fluent has Solar model available which you can use to define solar load. Here you can directly mention load if you have this data or you can use calculator to calculate solar load. However to consider solar load radiation in simulation, you should use along with radiation model. It will take care of reflective part of radiation. Once you switch ON Energy in FLuent, convective part will automatically take care ( if vehicle is stationary then natuaral convection need to be considered by switching ON gravity and change density to Ideal Gas). You can refer user guide for more details.
