Expression does not evaluate to a single value

      Hi all,

I am trying to input a material property (mass density) expression in Fluent:

but obtain "current value; Expression does not evaluate to a single value".

Perhaps a typo that I can't find? I've used StaticTemperature in other expressions without problems.

      Thanks for your help!

This expression is a function of Static Temperature, so indeed it does not evaluate to a single value and you will not get an output from the Expression window. It does not mean however that this is a problem. Try initializing your solution and do a Contour plot for this expression to check that it evaluates to the right range.

As an observation, how did you generate that polynomial? Just curious if you'd be better off with piecewise linear or similar depending on rounding error.
