SubscriberGood Day everybody,
I'm conducting some investigation on a glider's fuselage and its boundary layer. I have defined this spline with lines running normal to the surface in SpaceClaim. My goal is to create a plot for the boundary layer thickness in that particular curved plane defined by the normal lines running along the fuselage of the glider. Is there any way to automatically "export" this line and have it selectable in Ansys Post when creating a chart or isosurface? I already tried to create a named selection but the lines do not show in Fluent Meshing nor in Ansys Post. I would dislike to set all these lines/the surface manually.

Forum ModeratorLines won't transfer into Fluent Meshing or solver as they don't have anything to mesh. Ie they just don't exist.Â
You can Imprint surfaces into Fluent (solver) which may do what you want?Â
