Export .aedt file as .hfss

  Hi,
  
  I have ANSYS Electronics Desktop and it saves files with the .aedt extension.
  
  What should I do if I want to share my designs with someone who only has HFSS and requires .hfss files?

  HFSS has been included in AEDT since 16.0 (no stand-alone HFSS). Is that person using HFSS older version than this ?
  
  Also, what is your AEDT version ?

  I have AEDT 2016.2.0. with EM Suite 17.2.0.
  
  Yes the reciever is using HFSS older than 16 which is why he doesn't support .aedt files.
  
  Is there any way possible through which I can share my design (if not the simulation results) with the reciever?

  I just got the info from EBU support engineer.
  
  You definitely can't share the entire project to the older version but you 'might' be able to copy-paste the design (of course, you have to do this while opening two GUI's , so you must be able to access the old version GUI via network and open it. Even then, this usually is not successful as there could be feature in the design that is not compatible with old version.
