SubscriberI cant understand how to model tnt using ansys and where the non reflective/ fully absoorbing boundary conditions can be added from. Also i would like to know how to get peak particle velocity in ansys.

SubscriberI'm not good at ANSYS by any means but I've been using explicit dynamics for my uni dissertation and have become familiar with a fair few things. I know if you look into contacts there is a thing called Body Interaction, if you select only the bodies that you want to experience collision between and not the plates, this may allow the simulation to do what you're asking, again not a professional or anything but it may be worth a try.n -

SubscriberSir i have attached the photo of the Setup. I am doing it in explicit method and trying to crimp the stent down by moving the rigid plates radially. But when I run the analysis and try to move plates radially they interact with each other. I am unable to set the movement such that they intersect and move towards each other. nThanksnn -
