Mostly i have seen the simultion of synchronous reluctance motor is carried out with current excitation.Why can't we simulate with voltage excitation?

For the synchronous reluctance machine, the voltage excitation is available and you could set this by employing the external circuit or set in the 'Excitation'.Â

I am very much thankful for the reply sir...If we go for voltage excitation, we can't have a control over phase advance angle.Is it so? May i know the circuit how to build for voltage excitation?

Thanks for the reply.Â
The phase advance angle could be controlled by including this into the voltage expression when you set the excitation. For example:
Um*sqrt(2) * sin(2*pi*Freq1*time+PhaseAdvance)
