Euler-Euler Simulation of falling droplet

      Hi everyone,

my model is currently showing the following results during the fall of a water droplet in a vapor area towards a solid wall. I am using Euler-Euler model with sharp/dispersed interface and the surface tension is set to a constant value.

As you can see, the interface is quite sharp on top (which represents side of droplet) and blurred to the left and right. Did anyone else ever received something like that and has any idea how to sharpen the interface or knows how to interpret? At this point I am a bit lost.

      Thanks in advance!

      Best regards,

      Jacqueline

Are you looking at mass transfer too? If not the VOF model may be better.

Yes, I am also looking at mass transfer too, as the drop impacts onto a hot wall where it will evaporate..
