SubscriberI am attempting to run a temperature and total heat flux solution on a heat sink that I imported from Autodesk Inventor, but I am continuously, no matter which design or conditions I change, getting the same error: "An error occurred while starting the solver module. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the ANSYS Mechanical User Guide for more information."
Basically all I have done while attempting to evaluate this heat sink is first selecting the underside of the base of the heat sink, and adding a heat flow to it with a ramped magnitude of 13 W. Then I added a convection on the floor of the base (not the fins of the heat sink) with a film coefficient of 6e-6 (also ramped). Then I selected all sides of the fins and added another convection in the fins of 1.2e-5 (also ramped. The ambient temperature remained at 22 C. I do not understand what is going wrong here. I am not using the student version for this either as I am remote accessing the schools academic version of R19.0.
I have attached the log file for anybody that can help me with this problem. Thanks in advance!

SubscriberHas anybody possibly looked into this or have any insight as to what the problem could be. I have attempted changing the virtual memory and increasing it. I have changed the location that the files are saved in. I have tried changing the mesh and even the values that I have inserted. I still am getting the exact same issue and have no idea what to even try next in order to get this to function properly.Â
