SubscriberHi,
I'm unable to import any geometry from discovery (.dsco-file) to the fluent mesher. I have tried many geometries, updated my graphic driver, reinstalled Ansys and tried to find possible causes in the working path of the ansys files... The same error all again. I'm able to import .step-files though. Can anyone help me please?
This is the error:
Error: Timeout reached, failed to start Discovery!
Error Object: ("cadSession_e8421058_3637_4cbb_9f27_af2c98aba4d2.open_session('dsco')")
ERROR:root: no element found: line 61, column 0
Error: Error in CAD Import
Error occurred during import.
Error Object: #f
Error: state/object/execute-command:Exception encountered in S_ExecuteTask: Error in CAD Import
Thank you in advance! -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Did you try using other formats (.STEP, .scdoc, etc.) just to be sure?
