SubscriberHello everyone, im suffering some errors while trying open CFD-Post that does not allow me to analyze correctly my model. The two errors I am having are these:
-Â File '\AB000FS01 18_DataernoDesktop3D3Dsim_filesdp0FFFFluentFFF.1-3-00033.dat.gz' does not exist or is not readable.
-CCL parser failed with message:
invalid parameter value "., \AB000FS01 18_DataernoDesktop3D3Dsim_filesuser_files": control character number 8 is not allowed.
Ive checked that FFF.1-3-00033.dat.gz is in the folder and i can open the case perfectly.
Â
I am not sure if this information will be enough but if anyone has any tip that will help me to solve this issue, i would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Forum ModeratorCheck the path, but also, what's the characterÂ
8_DataernoDesk
represented by the square? I'd do the post processing in Fluent too, saves moving to another code and pretty much everything you need is there (we've been upgrading the tools in Fluent and stopped teaching CFD Post in the Fluent Intro course last year).Â

SubscriberThank you very much for your response, I have checked and you are correct there is a especial character, $. This character should not be there but as i am working from a remote pc the folders seem to have all of them that character. I will try it in the physical computer. If is possible to do the post processing as you said in Fluent that will be a relief.
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Borja

Forum ModeratorNone of the ANSYS tools will like the $ symbol, but may work. Depending on how Fluent sees it you may be OK, but it's something to raise with your IT department. As an aside always try and work locally: saving/reading over a network is a good way to lose data. Copying files doesn't suffer from this as the file transfer codes are designed to account (or fail cleanly) when doing this.Â
